PATRON EXCLUSIVE
We are honored to be able to invite our Patrons to a private viewing of Jan Lievens drawing of Admiral Tromp at Christopher Bishop Fine Art.
From the New York Times —In art world parlance, you’d call the drawing a “sleeper.” A small auction house in Massachusetts offered it for sale as a “an unidentified gentleman, initialed I.L., and dated 1652, ”with an estimate of $200 to $300. Within about 10 minutes, it sold for half a million dollars.
This is a unique opportunity to see the newly discovered Jan Lievens, listen to Christopher Bishop talk about the drawing and enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Because of the limited capacity we might have to raffle off our complimentary tickets. Tickets are for 2 people.
